Capacitive
touchscreen:-
The another display is Capacitive touchscreen. It detects the
actual location on the display, where a person touches on the screen. It is
built with an insulator – like glass coating, which is covered with a
conductor, such as indium tin oxide (ITO). It sense the particular touch
location based on the electrical impulses in a person body, with his / her
fingertip. Because human body is also an electrical conductor.
Different technologies may be used to determine
the location of the touch. The location of that particular location then send
to the controller for processing.
Examples of
capacitive display touchscreens are apple iphone and T-Mobile G1.
