for Liquid crystal display. This technology is the most commonly used
display technology in mobile phones. TFT is the type of technology used to
enhance the image quality of an LCD. Its TFT components that help with more
accurate color reproduction, contrast and responsiveness. It offer the good
quality image as compare to the earlier LCD display. In case of TFT LCD each
pixel has its own transistor on glass itself , which provide us control over
images and colors that it renders.
The main disadvantage is that it consume more lots of energy, which
result in poor battery life mean not battery friendly. In TFT LCD there is poor viewing angling. You can’t see on display from side of the
display, it can be difficult to see and You also can’t see on screen in
sunlight. It ranges from the budget smartphones.
